When you use Career Craft Go, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and uploaded resume documents. We also collect usage data such as pages visited and features used.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve our services, including generating tailored career documents, managing your account, processing payments, and communicating with you about your account.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Resume files are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. AI Processing

Your resume and job description data are processed by AI models to generate tailored documents. This data is not used to train AI models and is not shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to provide the service.

5. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@careercraftgo.com. You may also delete your account and all associated data from your account settings.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

8. Your Rights Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA)

If you are a Texas resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to know what personal data we collect about you and how it is used.
• Right to delete your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated data from your account Settings page.
• Right to correct inaccurate personal data we hold about you.
• Right to obtain a copy of your personal data in a portable format. You can download all your data from the Settings page.
• Right to opt out of data processing for targeted advertising. Career Craft Go does not process your data for targeted advertising purposes.

We will respond to your request within 45 days.

9. Third-Party Data Processors

We use the following third-party services to operate Career Craft Go. Each processes only the minimum data necessary to provide their specific function:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — processes resume and job description text to generate tailored career documents.
• OpenAI (GPT-4o-mini) — backup AI processor for document generation.
• Stripe — processes payment information. We never store credit card numbers on our servers.
• Supabase — database and file storage hosting.
• Vercel — web application hosting.
• Upstash — rate limiting service.

10. Data Retention

• Active accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account is active.
• Deleted accounts: All data is permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
• Failed packages: Automatically cleaned up after 7 days.
• Error logs: Retained for 30 days, then deleted.
• AI usage logs: Retained for 90 days for cost tracking purposes.

11. Children's Privacy

Career Craft Go is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us at privacy@careercraftgo.com and we will delete the data promptly.

12. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Career Craft Go does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not engage in the sale of personal data as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) or any other state privacy law.
